Have you ever heard the saying, “Brave men don’t kill dragons. The brave men rode them.” ?
I have always loved this saying because it points out a very specific attribute to one’s character. It means that those of us who can recognize, understand and utilize our greatest challenges can achieve success. It’s not beneficial to run blindly at those things we fear most and you should never run away from them either or try to make them disappear. Instead when you face your fears, you will find that they were not as threatening to you as you thought, in fact they are probably the most helpful in building your character.
