Dare to be you

In a perfect world we are a collective community of artists all creating a life that matters to us and benefits others. Getting there is the single toughest thing you’ll go through.

Because it takes hard focused work.

With so many distractions, people hurdles, hidden agendas, and inner conflicts it’s NOT easy to reach into the darkness and bring your most creative self into the light…

In fact, it’s a daily battle. Just when you think you have it right, something changes and your thrown off leaving you struggling to get that moment back. That zone, that energy, that inspired feeling when you can’t move it all forward fast enough.

How do you hold it all together?

Dare to be you..

Don’t try to be anyone else.. Just be yourself.

Let the bad times roll off because you have faith in yourself and you have faith that the Universe is spinning help in your direction.

You don’t need anyone else to believe in your ideas because you know this is the road that makes you happy and therefore it’s worth pursuing.

I’ve been working hard behind the scenes this past few days putting together some new support pages for my musicians and entrepreneurs who are writing or using blogs to talk about their work and projects.

  1. Hi Jacqueline,

Great post! I wholeheartedly subscribe to the sentiment of being yourself and doing what it is you’re good at. Life is really too short to do otherwise.

I received your direct tweet, in which you said to stop by and leave a little bit about myself, so here it goes:

I am a musician (singer, songwriter, keyboard player), artist, and writer. I have a new album ready to drop any day now and am looking for ways to bring it to the public’s attention, as I am doing it all myself, without the supposed benefit of a label or management. I have been subscribing to American Pride for some time now and have been waiting until the record release gets closer before reaching out.

As any self-respecting musician with aspirations to professionalism should these days, I have my own website, http://www.theheshinc.com, which features my music and my blog. I am also on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/TheHeshInc.music.

Hopefully I’ll be reaching out to you soon via American Pride – I look forward to speaking with you there soon!

    All the best,

    a/k/a The Hesh Inc.

  2. Love this post Jax! You’re so right. It has been an absolute challenge chasing my dreams and goals but it has been a learning lesson. I have found myself, who I am and who I want to be. I have found my purpose in life and can’t wait to start! It’s taking me years to figure myself out and I’ll always be learning and striving to be better not just myself but in life and others I surround myself with.
Thank you for your amazing and inspirational posts Jacqueline!
They have helped me get through my hardest of times.
    Cheers 🙂
