You’ve got to be dedicated to the process

All of my successes are the result of hard work, patience and diligence. What gives my life meaning is all the moments that I spend investing in trying to deeply connect with myself.

Sometimes those moments involve people and sometimes they don’t but being in the moment is a real help to your growth and knowledge.

So the best question you can ask yourself must be who are you and what do you want to do with your life?

Your life isn’t an inconvenience and neither is the work you do to accomplish what you dream of so don’t complain about it. I’ve complained and it got me no sympathy and brought no value to by life. It only holds you back.

Happiness is an accelerator of accomplishment. Excitement is like the egg to the batter. It holds it all together and helps it rise. Without it there is no nourishment to feed off of in order to get to the next level and the next.

I’ve learned that the best way to keep moving forward productively is by being dedicated to the process while staying detached from the results.

The micro is more ego centered so my macro is truly my main focus. Understanding the big picture and my end goal while being mindful of my micro goals has been a fundamental part of staying alive.

By alive, I mean passionate about what I’m doing and happy with the day to day tasks because I know in my mind that all these micro things will have me looking back on my life 1-5-10 years from now feeling proud of what I’ve accomplished and confident enough to know that I can do it anywhere, anytime and with anything that I set my mind to.

You can start your journey at any time. It’s never too late to start and never too late to achieve your dreams and move forward in this world. Those decisions are all up to you.

  1. Awesome article Jax! Great read.
Thank you!! I always enjoy reading your posts. Especially this one, over the past few years I’ve learned a lot. A lot about myself, a lot about people/friends and family…I guess things happen for a reason and you learn about people’s motives.
I’ve chosen to keep mostly to myself bc people only hear what they want to hear and don’t want to understand. And sometimes people aren’t allowed to understand certain things bc its not for them.
I just try to do the best I can each day; day in and day out. Help those I can along the way and try to stay focus on my goals. Short term and long term.
We have been dedicated to this process since day 1 and unfortunately its taken a very, very long time and only by seeing through the forest we now fully understand how and why things have played out the way they did. We will get there and in the time we were meant to be.
Its been a struggle for me to be happy these past years with so many disappointments, so much struggle, sacrifice, pain and loss that all I have been able to do is keep my head on straight and keep 2 families alive, well and fed.
Losing everything; your money, your reputation, your mind lol. Its all apart of the process in becoming successful in your field or having your vision become a reality!
I hate to tell ya but whoever came up with the saying “Money can’t buy happiness” has never been broke in their life and I mean completely broke! Especially when a person has bills and responsibilities…
I’ve had a $20 to my name, $1.50 to my name and down to -$200 in my account. Its not fun and nor happy living every day; day by day, penny by penny, dollar by dollar. When it all counts every day counts, every dollar counts. Its not living its strictly surviving…Most people wouldn’t know about this side of me bc I don’t show it. I shut up and show up everyday; I do my job and I go home then repeat.
People take so much for granite that they wouldn’t know how good they have it until it’s all taken away from them.

I’m happy that my grandmother is still alive and the rest of my family are healthy.
Im happy I have a house to stay in, a couch to sleep on and running water to use. Im happy I have a loving family and a few loving/caring/ true friends left. Im happy that I have found an Industry that I love and care about. Im looking forward to spending the rest of my life helping and creating a positive vision for the yachting industry and helping thousands of lives along the way. Thats what its truly about.

What are you willing to give up now? To have later.
What are you willing to give up? Sacrifice? Are you willing to help people while others stand and watch? These are very important questions while pursuing your goals and dreams. They also require important and meaningful answers. If you’re not willing to go all in and give it everything you got; you’re either not fully committed or you need to find another passion to pursue.
It all comes down to your goals, aspirations and vision; they must be greater than your burdens. Your vision and your strength will drive you into levels or territories where you have never gone before. They will push you through the hardest times to arrive at your greatest. Like sliding into home plate in Game 7 of the World Series in the bottom of the 9th winning the entire thing!
Its one of the greatest feelings in the world. You will cry and laugh with your teammates while cheering and screaming in triumph! Overcoming and then becoming.
I’m gonna cry for days and its gonna be the greatest feeling in the world; while having this incredible weight lifted off my shoulders.
    True Bliss
    Thanks for the article Jax.
