Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work

I feel very lucky that I have been able to work in a field that I love. My job feed my creativity and thirst for knowledge every day.

I meet amazing people and make great memories. At this point I can’t imagine doing anything else and at the same time I have no idea what the future looks like as my field in music journalism and social media influence is constantly evolving.

The fast moving pace and challenges of my job along with the people that I work with keep me motivated and inspired daily.

Aristotle wrote “Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work”.

Words so true that you can actually judge your future by them.

You truly need to love what you do to excel at it.

When people start telling me that they don’t have time to do something that will bring them success, I just know they aren’t doing what they really love and therefore they will never find the level of success expected.

Think about that the next time the excuses start to pile up.

You have to do what makes your happy so take a step back and figure things out because if you can’t make yourself happy, pushing forward on something you aren’t excited about is pointless and exhausting. …

What feels like that for you?

Take these steps today to help you figure it out.

  1. What do you most want to do when you wake up in the morning?

  2. Name some projects that you are looking forward to.

  3. What do people say you excel at? Think of things that people have noted you for over this past year.

  4. If you have all your basic needs taken care of and you were given a free month to do anything you wanted, what would you do with that month?

Listen to the “Impact” podcast today.

tiona_music_journey_It’s so true. If your passionate about it you will find a way.

jacquelinejax@tiona_music_journey_ I used to think that I couldn’t get everything done but you’d be surprised if your will to do it is strong, the time appears. Now I look after my Mom full time and I still get it all done. So it’s hard for me to see where anyone complaining is really being honest with themselves. Don’t you agree?

tiona_music_journey_@jacquelinejax yes totally. Bottom line it’s excuses. 😬🤪 it’s either regret or results

monj021Can’t agree more. If the why is strong enough then how will fall in place. We can’t have a strong why if we don’t love it.

jacquelinejax@monj021 I love that .. great quote.

jacquelinejax@tiona_music_journey_ oh and those regrets are bitter so best not to have them. Lol
