The only way you’ll ever know if you can is by being brave enough to take that leap.
Don’t let what you think you can’t do stand in your way.
Instead challenge yourself to think of how you can make things different for yourself.
I haven’t done a great job looking after myself this past year. I’ve been working really hard all this year, I spent a lot of time with my Dad while he was going through cancer treatments and then with my Mom after she had a stroke and needed my full time attention.
After all these months, there just wasn’t any time for myself. In fact, things are still a challenge and I’ve felt really exhausted from all the demands.
I’ve had to face some pretty frightening realizations this last year and at the end of the day, I realized that not taking any time for myself really made me not at my best. I was exhausted, feeling depressed and uninspired.
It was time for a change, but how? I thought where do I start?
I started finding those little bits of time and used them to learn about diet so I could make healthy things for my Mom and myself to eat.
I put a yoga mat in my office so I had no excuse on the exercise side and I started waking up earlier and taking breaks in the swimming pool and gym. Even a walk with my dog was on the menu even if I only had 10 minutes,
My last few weeks have been really focused on the things that help me to maximize my energy and strengthen my mind as well as my body.
As I finish my last 2 months of 2018, I’m working really hard to get my body into shape, change my diet, and tackle some music projects that have been long over due.
It’s time to start thinking about what I want things to be like in 2019.
My personal bucket list for 2018
– Change my diet and get healthy 💥
– Master yoga 💥
– Improve my flexibility & muscle tone; lose weight 💥
– Take pictures in a bikini 💥
– Record New Music
– Start organizing the pages of my book

– Blog more on my website.. 💥
Pictures in a swimsuit: accomplished. Lol
Truthfully this may actually have been the hardest task on my list. Thought I would begin with the task I was most intimidated by. Everything else seems like a breeze now.
@jacquelinejax yes it did. Actually I have bruises now on my back, left shoulder and collarbone. From the seatbelt. I called out of work and I’m just icing and resting today. I’ll be good for tomorrow and I’m in a wedding this weekend. Glad I don’t have any black eyes tho lol
@jacquelinejax you’re very welcome Jax. Thanks 💙🙏 I’m feeling alright still sore. I heard tomorrow is when my body will feel the full effect but we shall see. Have a goodnight Jacqueline and I’ll give you an update tomorrow.
@jacquelinejax. You don’t change a thing. Don’t stop being you for likes. You are looking for that audience that let’s you be you. What you have is so authentic and rare. Just be you and the right people will come…be someone else’s and you will get something else.
Wow!! I absolutely love this picture of you!! You look so very incredibly beautiful. And so very pretty. Love the bikini. It sure looks great on you. You should be very happy with yourself. And you’re perfect just the way you are. 😊❤️
I’m one of the people who limes to give it her best shot but knows how to give it up also when necessary. I always way up the pros and cons of any situation all the way along the journey, is it going well enough to keep on or should I first my valuable energies elsewhere now; self questioning is an important process at all stages.
