Was it us or was it them that made the moment seem so magical and memorable?

I heard a song on the radio last night that brought back so many great memories of concerts from my younger days in high school and college.

When I got home, I asked google to play me a Tom Petty Song and the magic all came back. In 2019 style, google - Spotify brought me back into a 4-hour tour of music that I loved growing up. I probably spent more hours with those artists than any one artist since.

The familiar sounds and dimensional lyrics of these storytellers reminded me once again of why I loved them and why I always took a deep breath and let them into my life.

They could take command of my world and decorate my personal space with their melodies.

I'm a big-time believer that all artists ultimately return to their roots after all the exploration and experiments. That's where I am now. I'm in the studio returning to my roots and letting those voices and those stories influence what you'll be hearing from me on the next project.

It's always fun to sink deeply into a playlist that reminds you of those wonderful times. I saved all the music to share it with you. Follow the list if you want to hear what I'm listening to today and allow yourself to get lost in some treasures.   (Play below or go to Spotify)
