I Like to be completely vulnerable in the music so that the flow of the lyrics and the melody can carry me away. Most of the recording I do is very late at night when the world is quiet and … Continue reading

We are judged not only by how we begin relationships, but how we exit them. I am no stranger to passion, love and heartbreak but when I look back on my past relationships I value the perspective that it gives me. If you don’t like what you see, it’s never to late to say your sorry and change your future. The fate of your character depends on it. Xoxo, Jax
There is something about this song that just relaxes me. I don’t know if it’s the melody or the lyrics but since I first heard it in 1999, I had always intended on recording it. The song was written by singer/songwriter Jesse Harris & the Ferdinandos (Tony Scherr, Tim Luntzel, and Kenny Wollesen). They have 3 terrific albums on Verve Records. When I was asked to do some recordings for a new web site launching next year, I was really glad that it fit in with the project. This new venture has me singing songs originating as far back as the 30’s onto today. I adore every song we chose and hope that you’ll enjoy my versions as well. Thanks for watching 🙂

Love that song too. It makes it all right to be who you are, all your hopes and dreams and fears and failures, along with the secrets that you keep, and the only excuse you need to tell yourself or anybody else is “Don’t Know Why”, but one thing is for sure, my true destiny with definitely reveal itself. And you do that song so perfectly, and you look so pretty. WOW, you should do this more!!
