I believe that every person should pursue what makes them happy. Even if you have to work towards it one step at a time, never lose sight of your dreams.
We all understand hard but hard does not equal impossible. Look at your idols, their stories show you the glorious map of life. From overcoming obstacles to having a deeper relationship with things like consistency, determination, and passion.
I think we all have something we love to do. For me, it's always been Art that has excited me. From music to mixed media, there are no limits when you keep an open mind. If you have something that you feel that passionate about, don't limit yourself. Go for it and enjoy every minute of it.
Art isn’t just a passion for me, it's a necessity...
I draw at night after work. When the world is quiet and things slow down, I take my brush or my ink pen and draw whatever inspires me. Drawing every day makes me happy and brings that creative balance to my life. Without it I don’t feel connected to myself. Perhaps it’s the quiet time and me time in meditation that recharges my batteries after a long day. I just feel lucky to have found a place that comforts me and makes me feel fulfilled.
I love working with non-toxic tools in an organic way that uses the flow of inspired energy to define each piece of art. Painting with watercolor is my favorite. The fluid medium forces you to believe in yourself because it’s so unpredictable and out of control.
It’s just like life. You start with nothing and you create in layers.
As you progress through each stage you have doubts that what you are trying to do isn’t working but with determination and faith, something good will emerge.
Every painting is like a journey and if you believe in the process the final result will teach you so much about yourself. Best of all you will be one step closer to your initial goal in bringing what you dream to life.
At the moment I’m working on a Spring Pop Art Portrait Series. Each Art piece is bursting with brilliant color and I can’t wait to show it to you.
